I Occurring several times over about a year, my daughter has been sexually assaulted, had items stolen, bullied, harassed, and told ‘not to report’ by the director of compliance for the school and head of charter school compliance who came from Valor, and the principal…they have willfully hidden issues. One student texted how she wanted to blow up a field trip bus, it was reported, and nothing was done. I was told I could not file a police report by admin, a lie, and a report was filed. The school gave these kids no contact orders and had them sign…many instances ago…but the admin and 3 named herein do nothing to enforce them to protect students or my daughter and it happens repeatedly. Your child is not safe at this school, and will not have the opportunity for peace or a proper education. If you want your student to have any chance at a future - avoid this school…it is a juvenile hall type atmosphere- without consequence for those students that choose bad. Even last year, students posting fight videos beating other students…this is a culture the staff chooses…BE AWARE. I am also aware of three other students who transferred out for the same reasons- Elementary and High School… it’s filthy and the board and admin feels they can do whatever they want to hurt children- karma is real. No staff is reprimanded, parents ignored, many teachers I have spoken to are frightened to speak up and fear retaliation from admin, and students. The school recently was on a one hour lock down and told students it was a drill. No parents were notified. It was not a drill and there was a real and live safety issue. The school told the students it was a drill (yet it lasted around an hour…The school admin and staff were dishonest and lied by omission so they wouldn’t have to tell parents of the active dangers at the school. This is all my opinion based on my experience, and I urge any reader to do their own deep due diligence, and to come to conclusions on their own.

My daughter has had a wonderful experience at Walden. She started in the pre-K program at 3 and is now a first-grader. All of her teachers have shown amazing patience and a true desire to know my daughter as a person, including attention to her specific learning style. Manageable class sizes allow an individualized approach to education that really supports children academically. In addition, the teachers and entire staff promote social and emotional learning that helps students to become thoughtful community members. As parents, we originally planned to have our daughter attend preschool at Walden and then take advantage of our district's strong public schools; however, we're now hooked and couldn't imagine leaving!

We were surprised to receive a complaint from her teacher regarding her use of paper for drawing activities. The complaint mentioned that she uses approximately 10 papers during her time at school. Considering the investment we make in her education at a private institution like Eton, we find it perplexing that such feedback would be raised as a significant issue. Furthermore, we have also been repeatedly urged to have our daughter evaluated due to her perceived "obsession" with drawing. While we understand the importance of a well-rounded education, we believe that nurturing her interests and talents should be encouraged rather than discouraged. We would appreciate a clearer understanding of Eton's perspective on these matters and how they align with the school's educational philosophy and values.

this school dose not have there stuff together. there is always problems the school is tiny and the rules are horrible. There after school activity's are not put together well. They don't have good coaches for there sports teams and make you pay $60 for a losing team. This school is not safe either I personally have been punched called names and body slammed without teachers or administration knowing. If you go to administration they say there was no adult witness so they cant do anything.

To be very honest, this was probably the worst experience in my life. I’m a current college student looking back on my high school experience making this realization. The staff are very unsupportive, particularly the academic counselors. They see the students as numbers and can be a little racially biased. My counselor in particular constantly mixed me up with other students and overlooked my achievements simply because I was Asian. The teachers are very harsh and don’t provide enough support to each individual student. The students can be very comparative and toxic with one another, with constant rumors going around. It was common for people to run out of their classrooms crying while going on a bathroom break. The peer pressure for academics was too much and there were nearly zero mental health resources. Overall, my experience was a 2/5. If I were to repeat my high school experience I would choose San mateo high school. Aragon is a breeding ground for poor mental health.

There is no diversity at this school what so ever, students call other students the N word and write it on school property. The African American students get in trouble and suspended over the smallest things compared to the majority ethnicity there. Teachers do not stay on top of the grades. And with the sports they only really allow the Hispanic/Latino students to join the team. I was warned to take my child out this school by some of the staff.

Would rate 0 if I could. Some teachers are good while others are ok. There are tons of complaints about not being taught yet nothing is done. Students are left probably worse than when they started.

The best decision we could make for my son was to take him to FCMS. His academic development and excellent grades have been support by the teachers he has had during these 3 years at school, especially Mrs. Farbo, Mr. Porter, Mr. Villadonga and Mrs. Alford who have developed his social skills. We are very happy that my son has been part of the history of FCMS!!!

This is such a wonderful school with so many spectacular and caring teachers/staff. Our daughter has absolutely THRIVED in this school. She comes home everyday so happy to tell me all about what she's learned, and all the new friends she's made (even outside of her class). We are so thankful to all of Borman's staff, specifically Mrs. Hoff, for guiding our daughter to a brighter and kinder future. Thank you!!!

Tons of bullying here! It's very upsetting because we have been a family with this school since pre-school and currently have two children enrolled here. The leadership is unaware of the bullying that takes place here and does little to squash it- just brush it under the rug or blame the wrong kids (teacher's kids seem to never do any wrong). It's so difficult for a child to learn in this environment! The academics here are top notch, but the social environment is not good and not watched! Our child excels in sports, is an A student, involved in the arts & band- the school wants students to be involved in all areas, which is great. However, they cater to the teachers' students- they get chosen for awards, positions and never get into trouble! It's very disheartening for a Christian school! Or child is good looking, intelligent & giving, but is constantly bullied by those who think they have "more power" than him because of their family status or parent teacher status!

Hello, I'm a student at this school, The Stem Academy. I love this school, the students, the teachers, the principals. As me being autistic, I feel welcome in this school, and others feel welcome in this school. I can work well with others. Overall, I recommend this school for PK- Grade 8.

Horrible bullying problem with inadequate repercussions. Cell phone use problem interfering with academics and teachers either don’t enforce/don’t care/or are oblivious. Supposed to be the best middle school in the district, but it’s horrendous. I hate to see what the other schools are like.
